Following recent events affecting Europe and its neighborhoods regarding migration, the LADDER consortium, (namely 46 organisations & networks of LAs and CSOs from 35 EU & non-EU countries) launch an open letter to the EU and Member States for a “Humane, comprehensive and immediate action for Migration”.

The letter stresses the importance of humane treatment of Asylum Seekers, calls for improving the European asylum mechanism and combating illegal migrant smuggling, encourages involvement of Civil Society, and emphasizes the necessity of addressing the root causes of migration.
